Elanore
Elanor Evenstar is named after the small yellow flowers
that grow in the forest of Lothlorien in the Lord of the Rings
books. Samwise
Gamgee from the book named his small hobbit daughter Elanor. Elanor
is a dwarf Holland Lop. She is the smallest and the oldest of my
bunnies. Her birthday is December 3, 2001. She is 4 years old. She
loves to cuddle. She crawls all over me to get attention. Her favorite
activity is bouncing in the grass. She loves to dig and once made
a tunnel large enough to disappear into. She loves any sort of treat
especially hay, bananas, and apples. Elanor likes to rearrange her “furniture”,
mostly sticks and her litter box. She is litter box trained and a
very good girl. |

Samwise Gamgee
Samwise Gamgee is a Black French Angora. He is
a buck or male. He is two years old; his birthday is on January
15, 2004. Samy belongs to my younger sister Hannah. She spoiled
him, making him very affectionate and a little rascal. When he
is outside in the playpen he is always looking for a way out. He
gets jealous if she gives one of the other bunnies a treat or pets
them too long. He is very sweet. |

Perigrin Took
Perigrin Took is a brown
French Angora. He is sweet and friendly. He is named after Pippin
in the Lord of the Rings.
Pippin and Meriadoc get into all sorts of trouble. During Bilbo's
party they even set off fireworks that they weren’t supposed
to touch. Pippin the bunny is also a rascal with lots of energy.
He always looks for a way out of the playpen, usually over the top. |

Meriadoc Brandybuck
Meriadoc Brandybuck
is Pippin’s best friend. Meriadoc loves
grass and bouncing. He also tries to jump out of the playpen,
like the other boys. Meriadoc loves hay. He also likes the other
treats
I give the bunnies; banana, apple and papaya pieces. His favorite
is lots of carrot greens with a little carrot on the end. |

Pansy and Poppy
Pansy and Poppy are
the two girls. They got their names from the Baggins of Hobbiton.
Bilbo and Frodo were from this family. The
bunnies are very similar in color and personality. Poppy
has light orange
on her face and fur; Pansy is more of a maple color. They both
like treats, their favorite being hay. They play outside
together, mostly
tag. Both of them are a little shy compared to the boys. They
also aren’t as interested in jumping out of the playpen as
the boys. |
